fa مقایسه کارآیی اصلاح نباتات سنتی با مهندسی ژنتیک Comparison of the efficiency of traditional plant breeding with genetic engineering عمومى General پژوهشي Research تغییر و تحول در کشاورزی، یک ضرورت اساسی برای کاهش فقر و گرسنگی و ایجاد عدالت در بسیاری از کشورهای فقیر دنیا است. کشورهای درحال توسعه، برای تغذیه جمعیت فعلی، نیمی از جمعیت آنها، که هر ساله میلیونها نفر به آن اضافه میشوند، به کشاورزی مشغول هستند. این در حالی است که کمترین درآمد و بالاترین نرخ رشد جمعیت را دارند. اصلاح نباتات به تنهایی نمیتواند جواب گوی تغذیه چنین جمعیتی باشد و با وجود مشکلات فراوان اصلاح نباتات، از جمله مصرف زیاد سموم و کاهش تنوع زیستی، امنیت غذایی را تهدید کرده و بازده اقتصادی پایین و هزینه های هنگفت مصرف سموم را به همراه دارد. مهندسی ژنتیک با رفع موانع موجود در اصلاح نباتات سنتی، امکان استفاده از منابع ژنتیکی موجود در دنیا را برای اصلاح گیاهان فراهم ساخته است و نقش بسزایی در حفظ تنوع زیستی و تامین غذای جهان دارد. هدف از این مقاله، مقایسه محصولات تراریخته با محصولات حاصل از اصلاح سنتی و بررسی جنبه های زیستی و اقتصادی محصولات تراریخته است. In many poor countries, the so-called Third World, changes in agriculture is a moral necessity to reduce poverty and starvation and as a result, to establish the justice. Developing countries, where half of the population is engaged in agriculture, have the lowest income and highest rate of population growth. Plant breeding cannot lonely solve the problem of supplying enough food for the current population and millions of people that are yearly added to it. In addition, many problems, including high use of pesticides, loss of biodiversity and low efficiency threatens our food security. By eliminating the barriers of conventional plant breeding, genetic engineering provides the use of genetic resources for plant breeding and plays a significant role in preserving biodiversity and supplying food for the world.
